Highfield hotel
in Keswick was built in the late 1880’s as two private
residences using local Borrowdale slate from only a few miles
away. Beautifully proportioned and ideally situated to take
advantage of the magnificent lake and mountain views and south
facing aspect, it incorporates many features for which the
Victorians were famous – balconies, turrets, bay windows,
a veranda for your pre-dinner drink and a converted chapel.
All have been thoughtfully restored and refurbished to offer
the highest quality hotel accommodation yet still maintain
the original homely feeling. There is complementary Internet
access is available for guests use
(Please note that Highfield hotel
and restaurant is fully non-smoking) |
